Thumb-nail Photo Search of Illinois Wildflowers – This app was written by Steve Sullivan. It divides plants into 3 categories: 1) Wildflowers, 2) Trees, Shrubs, & Woody Vines, and 3) Grasses, Sedges, & Plants without Flowers. Select the category to which your plant belongs by clicking on the appropriate photo. You will then be presented with a set of questions about the plant that you wish to identify. In response, this app provides a list of thumb-nail photos that match your answers to these questions. Clicking on the thumb-nail photo will send you to the corresponding plant web page of the Illinois Wildflowers website.
